Guitar Hero II Patch Killing 360s

Apparently there's an issue with the whammy bar on the Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360s Guitar. Well, a patch has been released by Red Octane to rectifiy the issue, only it's breaking 360s instead.

A pile of users are reporting that after installing the patch their systems are locking up and freezing. Some are getting the three red lights of death, usually followed by more freezing.

So far the only solution offered by Micosoft is to have the consol sent in for repairs. So if you want to keep your 360 in working order, pass on the patch until more info is known.
